It is a day to end another year. Tomorrow will be a new day.  A new year.   2013.  Those who are superstitious may be wary of the 20-13.   It seems almost silly to hope and expect a new year to bring betterness, happiness, health and love.

But then as Einstein said:  "There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle.   The other is as though everything is a miracle."
